Incorporating the Elements into Your Spiritual Healing

Earth, Fire, Water, and Air are the four fundamental elements that make up everything in the universe. For thousands of years, these elements have been used in spiritual healing practices. Today, it is more important than ever to reconnect with these elements in our modern world. With current research supporting their therapeutic benefits, the integration of energy and the elements is becoming an exciting frontier in wellness and healing. Doing this isn’t as complicated as you think, but it is a vital part of creating a happy and healthy life. With all the new stimuli in today’s busy lives, the amount of people experiencing energy unbalances and overloads continues to grow. This is being seen as anxieties, mood disorders, drug addiction, physical ailments, and unfortunately even suicides. Individually we can help to address some of the anxieties we are experiencing. By finding ways to incorporate these natural elements into our lives, we can create a more holistic life. Here are just a few examples of incorporating natural elements into your life.

Earth Element -

Taking walks in nature. Find time to be outside or bring plants into your home. Connecting with nature is a vital piece of self-healing.

Gemstones and rocks – It isn’t just children collecting rocks anymore, but we are all being drawn to them for the same reasons. These rocks create a grounding effect that helps us feel more balanced.

Fire Element –

Since man discovered fire, we have been captivated by it. Candles and campfires are a nice way to connect yourself to this element and let it help you connect more to your solar plex chakra.

Air Element –

Incorporate breathing exercises into your daily routine. Even just focusing on your breath can help you refocus and find more tranquility.

Water Element –

This is were I find my tranquility. Beaches, rivers, sand, and seashells. Our body truly is 60% water and making sure you are replenishing it by drinking plenty of clean water is the most essential piece of leading a healthy life and it truly is the easiest. I cannot emphasize enough how much drinking water consistently can help you feel healthier. Water isn’t just vital for our body, but for our soul. Many of us find serenity by visiting a beach, a river, or lake and seeing the magnificence of the water as it cascades and touches the sky, creating an illusion of oneness that truly gives us a visualization for the truth behind life. We are all one. Our energies flow together creating a mosaic of beauty across the universe. There are many resources available now to help you identify ways to incorporate natural elements into your life. Do a little self-research, trust your instincts, and find what elements and practices resonate with you!
